Animated IconsAnimated Koala GIFFrame by Frame Animation (Basic Angel Wings) SEIZURE WARNING!!!!
|
In this assignment I was instructed to make a few animated icons using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. These two alone took me almost two months to make because the files repeatedly got corrupted, even though each only take me around two hours each to complete. The animation of the letter somehow was too small but that can easily be fixed. These were pretty fun to make but got old the more times I had to repeat it. I'll be switching computers after this in hope that I won't have these issues again. If I were to change one thing on each of them, I would increase the file size on the letter and make the Camera animation a little less "chunky".
A simple GIF of an adorable koala climbing up and down tree. I kind of messed up on this one because I forgot a "mid-way" slide on the right legs when going down. The warp tool in Illustrator was a bit of a pain to use (but then again every Adobe program is a pain in general), so that took awhile to get how I wanted it. My favorite part of this piece would have to be the pastel colors and the light ridges in the koala's fur that make him look so fluffy. My first real animation on Adobe Animate. It took 56 frames and it's still not as smooth as I want to be. It's just barely over 2 seconds and again was very time consuming (Thank the Lord that my computer didn't screw me over this time). My favorite think about this is how now this turned out for my first attempt, however I would change it by adding feathers and making the movement a tad bit smoother. So uh.... Yeah.... This was an interesting project to do. Yes, I am a Metalhead, however I do I DO NOT listen to Black Metal or condone the actions of bands such as Mayhem. This is merely a joke, the assignment was to make an animated logo, and that is exactly what I did, although I did not want to use the pre-made files for the ACA project, so I drew my one logo and threw in a bit of dark humor. The text says "Sacrifice Studios", as a nod to record labels and the rumored tendencies of Black Metal musicians, I actually quite like how this came out, and I can't think of something that I would do different. |
